Accounting Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Accounting Manager for our bookkeeping department, where you will play a key role in shaping and developing our financial function.

About the position

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the operation of our bookkeeping and ensure that our team of 3-4 dedicated colleagues thrives and develops professionally. You will be the daily coordinator, working closely with our consultant on payroll and HR administrative tasks. In addition to leading and coordinating, you will also have an active hand in the daily tasks. This is a unique opportunity to make your personal mark on the development of our accounting function and ensure that our financial processes run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and management of the accounting department as well as employee development.
  • Being a daily sparring partner and problem solver for the accounting team.
  • Developing and ensuring effective procedures and business processes.
  • Implementing continuous improvements, such as optimizing accounting systems.
  • Being hands-on involved in accounting tasks such as supplier invoices, travel expenses, banking, cash flow, investments, and payroll bookkeeping.

Background and qualifications

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background and experience from similar roles. We are looking for someone who has:

  • Education such as HD-R, Cand.merc.aud., or similar.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • The ability to work independently and structured, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • A welcoming and service-minded approach to both colleagues and partners.
